SHO suspended

The Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Additional IG, Malik Mohammad Iqbal, has suspended the SHO, Nishtar Colony, Inspector Abdullah Jaan for one year on charges of alleged disobedience, inefficiency and gross negligence of duty.
As per detail, on April 02, four criminals snatched a tractor trolly, cash and cell phone from Bashir Ahmed and fled. The incident was relayed on wireless control but the said SHO did not visit the crime scene and sent the Assistant Sub-Inspector, Muhammad Akram instead.
The control room also informed Jaan about the incident, but he did not give any heed. The CCPO, during an inquiry heard the alleged SHO at length who could not give any plausible explanation in his favour. As a result, the CCCPO ordered one-year suspension of his approved service. Moreover, the CCPO has also suspended three constables.
