Pakistan and India agree to resume composite dialogue

Pakistan and India have agreed to resume composite dialogue at an early date. A statement issued by Spokesman of Indian External Affairs Ministry here on Thursday said External Affairs Minister, Pranab Mukherjee had congratulated Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on his election and appointment as Foreign Minister over telephone.
In their telephonic conversation last night, it was agreed that meetings under the composite Dialogue framework would resume at an early date, the statement said. The fourth round of Composite Dialogue between both the countries was concluded in October last and a review meeting of the round is due which is expected to be held in the coming weeks.
