Retired civil, army officials' re-employment terminated

The Punjab government on Thursday terminated re-employment of retired officers and officials from civil, army and police in all autonomous bodies, attached departments and field units with immediate effect.
Officials re-employed in BS-1 to BS-11 will be exempted from the operation of this order. However, this exemption will not be attracted in case of re-employment made against lucrative assignments like patwaris, registry moharrirs, excise inspectors, etc, and other similar posts. The contracts of such officers/officials are to be terminated with immediate effect.
Police Punjab Inspector General Dr Syed Azhar Hassan Nadeem has terminated the contractual appointment of seven deputy superintendents presently working on contract basis in the Punjab police. The names of terminated DSPs are Malik Muhammad Hussain, Khadim Hussain, Zulqarnain Ali, Wazir Muhammad Dogar, Ameer Ahmad Malik, Muhammad Zafar Mehmood and Khadim Hussain Niazi.
