Member of Provincial Assembly Sindh, Dr Nasarullah Baloch has said the PPP government would use all resources to solve the current problems in the light of revolutionary steps announced by the Prime Minister.
Talking to APP here, the MPA said unemployment has assumed alarming proportions in Pakistan because of the unfair policies of past regime and PPP would put in place a public welfare programme to provide guaranteed employment of at least one year to one working member of the poorest 25 percent families of Pakistan. He said that PPP would launch literacy and health campaigns to provide short-term employment to the educated youth plus vocational training programmes.
He said the PPP government would introduce microfinance institutions in Pakistan to provide self-employment to those desirous of setting up their own businesses along with emphasis on education for the development of the country. "Every child in government primary school will be provided a stipend and one computer in each school," he added, continuing that Madrassah reforms would also be penned down.
"Country faces a tremendous challenge in overcoming its power and energy shortage," he added. He said Pakistan faltered on environmental governance in the past and PPP would work at various levels to address all environmental challenges facing the country.
