"By entering into this state-of-the-art customer-centric arrangement, SSGC has become the first utility company to introduce such a multi-purpose Kiosk in Pakistan for the facility of its burgeoning customer base in Sindh and Balochistan," a press release issued here on Friday said.
The agreement was inked by Captain Mohammad Arif (Retd), Senior General Manager (Customer Services), SSGC and Shahrukh Qaiser, CEO, ZAQSoft (Pvt) Ltd Zuhair Siddiqui, Senior General Manager (Management Services), SSGC, Irfan Zafar, GM (IT), SSGC, Ahmed Qaiser, President, ZAQSoft, Mazhar Usman, Manager, Value-Added Services, SSGC and senior managers from both organisations were also present to witness the landmark agreement.
Speaking on the occasion, Arif said that the launch of this technology was a manifestation of SSGC's continued efforts towards providing customers with maximum convenience. He said that besides providing customers with alternate bill payment choices, such a technology brings in transparency to the whole exercise.
He asked the media to educate the customers about the benefits of using such kiosks in airports, malls and CFCs. In his address, Qaiser described SSGC as a trend-setter by incorporating technology in all facets of its operations including customer service. He thanked SSGC for reposing confidence in ZAQSoft and said that the self-service kiosks would go a long way in removing hassles faced by the customers. He called today's customer extremely well informed who does not want stereotyped solutions and as such the launch of the kiosk is a major development. In this regard, he acknowledged the contribution of the SSGC and ZAQSoft teams who worked on the project.
Earlier in his welcome address, Irfan Zafar said that the company has been making tremendous progress in developing alternate bill payment channels since it considers providing value-added services as key to high-class customer service.-PR
