Rich tributes paid to Allama II Qazi

The Founder's week programme to commemorate the 40th death anniversary of Allama II Qazi, the founder Vice Chancellor of the Sindh University (SU), concluded on Sunday.
The SU organised the weeklong programme that was attended by the Vice Chancellor, SU, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, Dr NA Baloch and a large number of scholars, educationalists, academics, students and staff. The whole week was marked with different programmes including Quran Khuwani, laying of floral wreaths at Kazi's mausoleum, Urdu and Sindhi Mushaira, drama and parodies, Qirat and Naat competition, display of posters bearing quotation of various philosophers and music competition.
They also paid rich tributes to the founder VC of SU, Allama II Kazi for his services towards establishment of the SU. The VC, SU said that Qazi was a man of principals, with excellent academic qualities and urged the scholars and teachers of the University to follow the footprints of the late founder VC of the SU Allama II Qazi.
