Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that his party's ministers in the federal cabinet will not meet or travel with President Pervez Musharraf. Talking to a private TV channel he said that the PML-N did not accept Pervez Musharraf as a constitutional and legal President of the country because he has come through force.
"We are not willing to enter into any kind of working relationship with Pervez Musharraf", Chaudhry Nisar clarified. He said that the people of the country have given mandate to the PML-N and the party elected members would utilise all their energies for the development of country and welfare of its people. He said that they were ready to render any kind of sacrifice for strengthening and promoting of democratic institutions.
The PML leader said that they have no lust for power but have joined the government in the lager interest of democracy, adding that they want to serve the oppressed people, adding that they would not compromise on the principles and would stick to their principled stance.
To a question he said if they felt that they were not in a position to resolve the public grievance they would not remain in power but would quit the ministries. Chaudhry Nisar said that the people have reposed confidence in the PML-N leadership and the party would not disappoint it but would consult the workers before taking any big decision. He said that workers are the assets of the party and they would be given respect in and outside the party.
