Chief minister visits Data Ganj Bukhsh Mazar

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Dost Muhammad Khan Khosa on Sunday visited the shrine of Hazrat Ali Bin Usman Al-Hajveri known as Data Ganj Bukhsh (RA). He offered Zohar prayers at Data Darbar Mosque and specially prayed for the development and prosperity of the country and the nation.
Talking to the media persons after visiting Data Darbar, he said that elimination of poverty and provision of relief to the people is government's top priority.
He said that provision of daily-use commodities at reasonable prices will be ensured to the people. He prayed that may Allah Almighty grant us courage and strength to serve the people in its real sense. He said: "The people have reposed confidence in us, and we will Inshaallah come up to their expectations."
Khosa had announced elimination of VIP culture from the province and non-stoppage of traffic during the movement of the chief minister at a press conference at Chief Minister's Secretariat last Saturday.
He reached Data Darbar from Defence and traffic was not stopped anywhere upon which the people expressed their satisfaction. Police had not been deputed unnecessarily on the way to Data Darbar for the chief minister.
When Dost Muhammad Khan Khosa along with Punjab PML(N) President Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa visited Data Darbar on Sunday, CCPO Lahore Malik Muhammad Iqbal, DCO Sajjad Bhutta and administrators of Data Darbar welcomed him. A large number of people were present at Data Darbar who welcomed the chief minister by waiving their hands. Later, the chief minister reached the Chief Minister's Secretariat, 90-Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam, where he called on office-bearers and workers of party hailed from different parts of the province.
