Kamal Hayat's paintings exhibition opened

Bangladesh High Commissioner, Yasmeen Murshid opened the exhibition of Kamal Hayat's paintings at the Nomad Gallery, here on Thursday. These delicate paintings delve deep in the journey of imagination was opened by the representative of land, that is green and fluid, as reflected in its national anthem, and supple in frame.
Characteristically, also, the High Commissioner spoke of the high skill of the painter in writing expressions of heart on canvas full of enchanting pigments.
She also praised Kamal Hayat's work done in different media, including water colours (a genre in which Bangladesh painters excel) as well as mixed media and pastels.
She said the subjects were cute and sensitive, with surge of emotions. There were a number of art works in black ink, reminding her of master painter Zainul Abedin of former East Pakistan. Kamal also tells stories in his work and also depicts many ordeals of the society.
Kamal Hayat has previously participated in the composite exhibitions of the Punjab Artists Association and displayed at the World Bank Art Gallery. Kamal's friends say his paintings are very individual. He is also a self educated painter.
