This refers to the news appeared in a local daily in which Health Minister's Drugs Registration Board has cancelled Registration of all anti-diarrhoeal drugs containing Kaolin of Pectin, prohibiting their manufacturing and sale. Recently government of China has banned use of some chemicals in manufacturing of Tooth Paste because of Cancer and other diseases.
In Pakistan local manufacturers are using Kaolin of Pectin in Tooth Paste such as Medicam, English and various other toothpastes manufactured in Pakistan. This is very dangerous for the health of human beings. God knows how many peoples are affected nowadays.
Minister of Health should take action about this type of low standard tooth pastes, which are injurious to the health of people. The local companies are minting huge profits for selling such products and advertising on TV. We request to take necessary action against such dangerous products, which is playing with life of the people.
