Five more inducted in NWFP cabinet

Five more ministers were on Wednesday inducted in the NWFP cabinet climbing the tally of the cabinet members to 26. NWFP Governor Owais Ahmad Ghani administered the oath to the newly inducted ministers in a ceremony held here at Governor's House. Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti was present on the occasion.
The new ministers were included Habib-ur-Rehman Tanoli, Parvez Khattak, Qazi Muhammad Asad Khan, Amjad Khan Afridi, and Hidayatullah Khan. Habib-ur-Rehman Tanoli was elected MPA from Mansehra as independent candidate while Pervez Khan Khattak was elected on the ticket of PPP-Sherpao, a breakaway faction of the party. Khattak is also a former district nazim of Nowshera. The two has been included in the cabinet from the quota of PPP-Parliametnarians.
The three others who are from the quota of ANP are included Qazi Mohammad Asad, Amjad Afridi (independents) and Hidayatullah Khan of Dir Lower. Later, both the Governor and the Chief Minister mixed with the gathering and exchanged views.
The ceremony was attended by provincial ministers, senior government officials, representatives from a cross section of the society and the relatives and well wishers of the respective members of the cabinet.
