Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Nabil Gabool has said that a package is being prepared to help remove sense of deprivation of the people of Balochistan.
Talking to newsmen after meeting of the reconciliation committee on Balochistan in Islamabad on Wednesday afternoon, he said the package will take care of difficulties of the people, creation of employment opportunities and provision of amenities of life.
He said an All Parties Conference (APC) on Balochistan would be convened in Islamabad. All political parties would be invited to attend the important moot aimed at easing political situation in Balochistan. PPP leader Nawab Lashkari Raisani said the committee would hold meetings in Gwadar and Quetta before APC in Islamabad.
He said Balochistan is an important strategic region and we can stabilise situation there by granting political and economic rights to the people. Replying to a question about killing of Pro-Vice Chancellor of Balochistan University, he said whenever a process is initiated to resolve problems of the province through discussion and dialogue some hidden hand and foreign forces hatch conspiracies to undermine these efforts.
He said the Balochistan government has withdrawn cases against Sardar Akhtar Mengal and the Sindh government is also reviewing cases against him. The meeting was presided over by PPP Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari.
