At least three people working in a local cement factory were killed while eight others suffered critical injuries after unknown motorbike-riders sprayed bullets on their bus in Hub on Friday, police said.
According to reports, a bus of Attock Cement factory was taking a shift of the factory workers to Karachi when unknown gunmen riding on a motorbike intercepted it at the Post Office Road and opened fire.
As a result three of the workers identified as Murad Ali, Arif and Raees died on the spot while eight others survived critical injuries and were shifted to Jinnah hospital for treatment. Area police cordoned off the area soon after the incident and started search operation for the assailants.
