Advisor to Prime Minister on Interior, Rehman Malik has ordered immediate transfer of Inspector Khalid Masood, SHO Sabzi Mandi Police for his failure in arresting armed dacoits, who looted a shop in I-10 markaz, few days ago.
After receiving the news regarding the protest of the business community in I-10, the Advisor to Prime Minister gave a deadline to Sabzi Mandi police for arresting robbers and had directed the Chief Commissioner and Inspector General of Police Islamabad to transfer SHO Sabzi Mandi, if he fails to arrest them.
According to details, on March 27, four armed persons riding a car parked their vehicle close to the Business Plaza and looted a shop, Super Tel of Fakhruz Zaman son of Shabir Ahmed. They held the shopkeeper at gunpoint and looted 2,300 dollar, Rs 15,000, four cell-phones and calling cards. The Sabzi Mandi police filed an FIR against the robbers but failed to arrest the culprits. Under the orders of Rehman Malik, Khalid Masood was transferred to Police Lines.
