According to detail, an amount of Rs 7373.714 million has been earmarked for the ongoing schemes, whereas Rs 5401.956 million have been allocated for new schemes of ministry of Ports and Shipping under PSDP.
Among ongoing schemes, an amount of Rs. 1450.000 has been allocated for Construction of Eastbay Expressway, Rs. 3569.809 million for Provision of Coal Conveying System from Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT) to Railway Network at Port Qasim.
Meanwhile, government also earmarked Rs. 1235.000 million for Development and Construction of Port Allied Structure in Multan Band Area.
Rs 450.000 million has been allocated for Pak-China Technical and Vocational Institute at Gwadar (CPEC) and Rs 180.000 million for feasibility study for Construction of Break Water (CPEC).
Among new schemes, an amount of Rs. 3000.000 million has been earmarked for Land acquisition as per Gwadar Port Master Plan and Rs. 1750.000 million for Oil storage construction at OIA, Keemari Karachi.
Similarly, Rs. 300.000 million have been allocated for Capital Dredging of Berthing areas and channel for Additional Terminals (CPEC) while Rs. 100 million for Business Complex R.O Pant (0.2 m/g/d capacity have been earmarked.
