IIU to organise number of cultural events

Islamic International University (IIU) has organised a number of cultural events, beginning next Thursday. The most prestigious among them is a two-day photo exhibition relating to "Sacred Trusts: collection of Holy Relics like the Holy Mantle, the seal, footprints and relics of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)" which will open on May 13 and continue the next day at the new campus (H-10) of the University.
University President Dr Anwar Hussain Siddiqui will inaugurate the exhibition. The Pakistan Chapter of the Rumi Forum has brought the exhibits to Islamabad. On the second day, ie on May 14, the exhibition will be reserved for viewing by ladies.
The Islamic International University will also celebrate the birthday of Turkmen national poet Makhtum Kuli Fragi on May 14. This programme will be held in association with Pakistan Central Asian Friendship Association and will be held at the Faisal Mosque Campus.
