Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Emmanuel Macron, France's newly elected President, met for the first time at the summit and seemed to develop a strong bond throughout the day.

On the sidelines of the diplomatic talks at the G-7 meetings, attended by leaders of the seven most powerful countries convened in the Sicilian town of Taormina, a new Trudeau-Macron bromance flourished.

The two young and charming politicians spent a considerable time together on the day. On Friday, Trudeau wrote on Twitter he had a sit-down with Macron, where the two talked about "jobs, security and climate."

Later Macron also posted a video of the stroll with his Canadian counterpart, and wrote: "The Franco-Canadian friendship has a new face. @JustinTrudeau, we have to meet the challenges of our generation!"

The blooming bromance couldn’t go unnoticed among the social media users, as many talked about the way the two looked at each other.

Many also drew comparisons between Trudeau and Macron, describing them as young and good-looking politicians with progressive ideas.

Following the suit of Trudeau, Macron also announced his Cabinet to comprise evenly of men and women when he took office.
