Process of reconciliation to continue: Shazia Marri

Sindh Minister for Information, Shazia Marri has said that PPP Government is making efforts for political stability and strengthening of democratic process in Pakistan and in this regard the Government of Sindh has also taken sufficient concrete steps to restore democratic climate in the province. She was talking to the people in an open katchery in her office, on Wednesday.
The minister listened to the grievances of people coming from all over Sindh and issued directives for their solutions. Marri said it is unfortunate for the country that in last 9 years people were deprived of their constitutional as well as basic rights. We believe that all problems confronting the province will be overcome by the present government with the help and co-operation of the people, she said.
The minister said that the PPP does not believe in the politics of revenge and the process of reconciliation as envisioned by Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto will continue under the leadership of PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari. Referring to May 12 incident, she said that the people of Sindh cannot forget the day on which the people sacrificed their lives.
She paid rich tributes to those martyred and hoped that such incidents will not take place in future. Marri assured that the present coalition government will solve the problems faced by the people of Sindh in a better atmosphere.
