Socio-political circles and parents have appealed to the Punjab Chief Minister and high ups of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) to hold probe into establishing joint (female and male) examination centres at Commerce centre, Sialkot fort.
In press statements here on Sunday the parents alleged that the outsiders and male students in the premises of the collage were harassing their daughters by capturing photographs by mobile phones. They further pointed out that there were inadequate facilitates of separate washroom and drinking water for the female students as a result of which the female students were facing serious hardships.
The parents alleged that establishing of examination centre in Commerce College was preplanned conspiracy and urged upon the Punjab Chief Minister and Tevta high ups to shift the centre to a safer place for avoiding any mishap.
These circles have also appealed the Punjab education department to take immediate steps for purging the menace of corruption from the department because the clerical staff of the government Degree College for Women is involved in corruption and misbehaved with the visitors and students they alleged.
They appealed to the government that clerical staff of the college should be transferred immediately. They expressed their confidence that Punjab Chief Minister and other concerned authorities would take appropriate and immediate action on these issues to facilitate the people of Sialkot.
