SHC adjourns Zardari's petition

A division bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Azizullah M.Memon and Justice Khalid Ali G Kazi on Thursday put off hearing of a constitution petition. The petition was filed by Asif Ali Zardari seeking quashing of all cases registered against him as part of political victimisation by rivals.
The adjournment came as Adnan A Karim advocate, counsel for petitioner sought time saying that let the petitioner confirm the position as stated by Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Rizwan Ahmed Siddiqui.
Earlier DAG submitted three pages containing an intimation by Mirza Shehzad Akbar sent to Prosecutor General Accountability, Danishwar Malik, which showed that UK court has issued a notice to defendant for closing case against him on a request by government of Pakistan.
