PPP leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim said his party wants to resolve Kashmir issue according to the aspirations of Kashmiris. Talking to APP here on Thursday, Fahim, who is in India on a private visit said Kashmiris should be involved in the talks for lasting settlement of the dispute.
He said his party favoured improvement in Pak-India relations and resolution of all outstanding issues between both the countries. There was need to carry out Confidence Building Measures including people to people contacts.
The PPP leader said during a courtesy call, he discussed with BJP President Rajnath Singh matters relating to improvement in bilateral relations. He stressed the need to take steps for building confidence and trust between Pakistan and India.
When asked about his expectations from the forthcoming Pak-India ministerial level talks to be held in Islamabad on May 21, he said "I hope positive results to come out." Amin who is also a poet, said he visited Mazar-e-Ghalib. He plans to visit historical places including Jamia Masjid, Lal Qila and Qutub Minar.
