Dacoits take away Rs 5.7 million from bank, injure guards and cops

Five dacoits equipped with Klashnikoves, pistols and hand-grenades looted a United Bank Limited (UBL) branch on Sargodha Road in broad daylight and taken away Rs 5.746 million besides injuring two bank guards and two policemen.
As per details, five armed dacoits entered the UBL branch and shot at and injured two security guards of the bank, Khadim Hussain and Muhammad Rafique, when they tried to resist the bid. Both the guards surrendered to the robbers and hand over their repeater guns to them, when the dacoits threatened to attack on them with hand-grenade.
Then the armed looters taken away Rs 5.746 million from the bank branch and fled in a car. Later on, when two policemen, constables Zahid and Zafar Abbas, singled their car to stop near Nishatabad over-head bridge, instead to stop they threw a grenade on the cops.
