Pakistan Railways Chairman Muhammad Kashif Murtaza has ordered department authorities to ensure timely trains departures and arrivals. In his speech in a meeting of the Railways Executive Committee on Friday, he stressed the need for starting long-term projects instead of short-term ones.
The meeting also approved several plans relating to marketing department, including public call offices at rail stations, ATM machines, hoarding policy and availability of mineral water etc. He said contracts for these projects would be given to contractors for three years. Murtaza also visited the Mughalpura Dryport and the Cantt Railway Station.
