DIG assures arrest of student's killer

The DIG Police, Hyderabad, Sanaullah Abbasi has assured the Sindh University (SU) authorities that culprits involved in murder of BS-Part-III Sociology student, Abdul Nabi Brohi would be arrested very soon. His assurance came during Law and Order meeting called by the administration on Friday on the Campus.
The acting Vice Chancellor (VC), Dr Rafia Ahmed Shaikh chaired the meeting while important university and Police officers attended it. The meeting also discussed day to day problems faced by the university administration and the role of law enforcement agencies on the campus. The acting VC also highlighted the university's day to day academic activities, functions of various sections, strength of the students at hostels and departments.
She informed the meeting that due to murder of a student ongoing semester examinations were postponed till May18. The university is planning to resume its semester examinations as per schedule in peaceful atmosphere without any trouble on the campus, she said.
The DIG Abbasi assured all possible co-operation in order to start semester examinations. The Registrar, Muhammad Saleh Rajar, Provost Boys Hostels, Dr Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, DPO, Jamshoro, Furrukh Bashir, Professor Agha Riaz Hassan, Dr Parvez Pathan, SP Investigation, GM Mastoi also attended the meeting.
