Arabica coffee futures contracts trading on ICE Futures US climbed into positive territory in early trade Friday, while cocoa turned mixed in choppy dealings.
July arabica contract up 0.20 cent at $1.37 per lb at 9:10 am EDT (1310 GMT), trades from $1.3655 to $1.388. The rest up from 0.30 to 1.10 cents. July cocoa contract was down $17 at $2,612 per tonne at 9:11 am, range from $2,606 to $2,673. The rest from $17 lower to $12 higher.Volume Thursday at 3,981 lots, sharply lower than the 14,290 lots previously.
