Twenty-four members of the PML-Q forward bloc in Punjab Assembly met Punjab Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President Zulfikar Khosa here on Sunday at his residence and assured him of their full political support to him. The PML-Q MPAs have also assured the PML-N leadership that they will not become a part of any effort or negative activity, which may become the cause of destabilising the Punjab government.
The PML-Q forward bloc members have also agreed to name their group the 'unification bloc'. The dissenting PML-Q MPAs believe they can no longer ignore the popular mandate given to the PML-N by the voters and they must support the provincial government, sources said. Sources claimed the ruling party has assured these MPAs to resolve the problems of their areas on priority basis.
