Sindh Minister for Industry and Trade, Abdul Rauf Siddiqui has assured business community that the government will allot 10 acres of land for establishing SM Munir Economic University.
Speaking at a meeting of Imperial Tiles on Sunday evening, he said that establishment of SM Munir Economic University is our joint mission and hoped that its foundation stone would be laid soon. Referring to economic policies, Rauf regretted that the policies are generally formulated without consultation of stakeholders.
He announced that the suggestions received during recently held traders convention would be compiled in a book. The minister hailed the role of business community in improving the economic condition of the country. Speaking on the occasion, SM Munir expressed concern over increasing inflation and said that middle and lower class of the country are facing hardships in meeting their daily expenses. He urged upon PPP and PML-N to give up their differences and work for betterment of general public.
