Rivers inflow crosses 0.2 million cusecs

As the farmers across the country have been anxiously awaiting regular water releases in the irrigation canals for sowing the Kharif crops, the water inflow in the four rivers under Pakistan's control has been improving slowly and has reached the level 2,20,000 cusecs.
According to Wapda, the position of the river inflows/outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages on Monday were as under:
RIVERS:
Indus at Tarbela-lnflows 92,100 cusecs and Outflows 80,000 cusecs. Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 41,600 cusecs and Outflows 41,600 cusecs. Indus at Chashma-Inflows 119,100 cusecs and Outflows 105,000 cusecs. Jhelum at Mangla- Inflows 54,500 cusecs and Outflows 40,000 cusecs. Chenab at Marala- Inflows 31,300 cusecs and Outflows 15,500 cusecs.
BARRAGES:
Jinnah-lnflows 111,300 cusecs and Outflows 105,800 cusecs. Chashma-Inflows 119,100 cusecs and Outflows 105,000 cusecs. Taunsa- Inflows 87,400 cusecs and Outflows 70,900 cusecs. Guddu- Inflows 44,800 cusecs and Outflows 41,600 cusecs. Sukkur- Inflows 40,000 cusecs and Outflows 10,100 cusecs. Kotri- Inflows 4,685 cusecs and Outflows Nil,
Reservoirs Level and Storage Tarbela- level 1375.96 feet, live storage 0.092 million acre-feet (MAF) and dead level 1369.00 feet. Mangla- level 1106.75 feet, live storage 0.720 MAF and dead level 1040 feet. Chashma - level 641-80 feet, live storage 0.073 MAF and dead level 637 feet.
