Bears hold sway on ISE

Bears commanded the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities failed to show recovery signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE-10 Index showed a decrease of 40.07 points, as it moved from 3,105.49 to 3,065.42 points.
The volume of trade amounted to 1,034,845 shares as compared to previous turnover of 1,441,500 shares. Total 148 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (127) closed in minus territory, 21 closed in positive zone, whereas zero company remained pegged to its previous level. The turnover of Pakistan Petroleum was 163,800 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 95,128 shares. The turnover of Arif Habib Securities was 93,300 shares.
