The Tando Bago police arrested Ali Nawaz Mallah, step father of the deceased, Mohammed Mallah and Shabir in murder case of Aftab Mallah, 12. The suspects accepted their crimes before journalists during a press conference arranged by Tando Bago Police.
According to details, Aftab Mallah, 12, inhabitant of ward No 2, Mir Mohalla Tando Bago city, who was murdered some forty days back. Initially, after lodging FIR, police recorded statements of the arrested persons but the matter could not be resolved.
Later, heirs of deceased staged protest demonstration and held sit-in. A police party led by In charge Investigation, Mohd Hashim after hectic efforts arrested Ali Nawaz Mallah, step father of the deceased, Mohammed Mallah, maternal grand father of deceased and Shabir. Who accepted that they had committed the heinous crime. Step father of deceased, Aftab Mallah, Ali Nawaz Mallah told the journalists that he committed the crime in anger and ready to face any punishment which he deserves. While mother of Aftab Mallah, Amina alias Bibi, told the journalists that she would not forgive any person involved in the crime.
DPO Badin has also sent a recommendation letter to IG Sindh Police for promotion of in-charge investigation, Mohammad Hashim who performed his duties honestly to arrest main accused of murder of Aftab Mallah.
