Lawyers boycotted courts proceedings and staged hunger strike camps for the restoration of 'deposed' judges on Monday. Lawyers and office-bearers of Lahore High Court Bar Association joined hunger strike camps vowing to continue their struggle for restoration of deposed judges.
LHCBA president Anwar Kamal and Secretary Asadullah, speaking on the occasion demanded restoration of deposed Chief Justice and other judges of higher courts. The boycott continued between 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. The lawyers were wearing black armbands during court proceedings. Black flags were also hoisted on bar premises.
