Trakker Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Iqbal Siddiqi as Chief Executive Officer of Trakker Direct Insurance. Mr Siddiqi has rich experience of working for leading insurance companies in Pakistan as well as abroad. Prior to joining TDI he worked as Country Head of American International Group's (AIG) Oman and Pakistan operations.
He was instrumental in promoting AIG in Pakistan and the Middle East in taking an eminent position in the market. He effectively launched many personal lines products and added real value to the group. His major contributions to personal lines insurance in Pakistan include the introduction of a differential rating system for automobile insurance, rating model for financed vehicles and the introduction of bancassurance which is now one of the most popular common business segments for banks and insurance companies.
Mr Siddiqi is an MBA from USA and a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
