Body of kidnapped trader recovered

Capital City Police Karachi on Friday arrested 11 suspects, allegedly involved in murder and robbery cases from different areas of the metropolis. According to police officials, a Special Investigation Team of Saddar Town headed by DSP Ali Raza arrested five suspects and recovered huge quantity of weapons from their possession.
The team raided a hideout at Saifuddin Road in the jurisdiction of Risala Police Station and arrested Imran, Irfan Qadir and Jawad. The accused were wanted by police in robbery and murder cases.
Police recovered four TTs, two snatched motorcycles, 12 mobile phones, two KK rifles and Rs 2.15 laks in cash from their possession. The same police party also raided at a hideout in Boat Basin and arrested Allah Bukhsh, an alleged street criminal, and recovered a TT, a two mobile phones from his possession. Meanwhile, a police party of Anti Violent Crime Cell (AVCC), headed by SSP Farooq Awan, raided at a bungalow at Tariq Road and recovered dead-body of a kidnapped trader.
According to AVCC officials, the body was recovered on the pointation of the kidnappers, who were arrested by the same party. The two suspects kidnapped Salem Shiekh, trader of gold, a few days back for ransom and killed him on non-payment. Police arrested the culprits and recovered the dead-body of the deceased. Area police has registered the FIR of the incident and shifted the dead-body to Jinnah Hospital for post-mortem, sources said.
