Corruption in government departments to be eliminated: advisor

Gul M. Lot, advisor to the chief minister Sindh on inquiries and anti-corruption establishments, has said that to facilitate masses stern action would be taken to eliminate corruption from all public dealing government departments and transparency in all procedures would be maintain.
Speaking to journalists at his residence on Friday he said that immense complaints were received against different departments in various districts mainly in Tharparkar, where expenditure from the government fund was made without following required rules and regulations.
He added that favourite contractors were awarded the contracts without maintaining legal obligations. Gul said that the government has earlier taken stern action against this illegal business following to cease some records of the ongoing projects before his appointment.
He apprised that any complaint in this connection would be entertained and pledged to take action against malpractioners without any discrimination. He further said that incumbent government was striving to maintain the prices of essential commodities at reasonable rates aimed to improve living standard of common man.-PR
