Special relief for low income people in next budget: PPP

The government will provide special relief to low income employees in the next fiscal budget. Peoples Labour Bureau's central in charge Abdul Qadir Shaheen, secretary information Muhammad Salim Mughal, General Secretary Syed Khalid Bukhari and other office-bearers stated this while talking to party workers here Saturday.
PPP leaders said that the present government during its tenure would alleviate poverty, unemployment and price hike from the country. They said that the government would abolish anti-labour laws. They said that the government would regularise the staff working on contract or temporarily basis on the permanent post.
PPP leaders further said that the government would take action against the corrupt and incompetent officers of the public institutions. They said that the government was also formulating an effective and comprehensive strategy to arrange job opportunities for unemployed youths.
They said that the PPP, despite gaining majority in the provinces, adopted a policy to make governments with alliance of other parties with a view to building national reconciliation and save the country from different challenges by creating unity and discipline.
The government was endeavouring to resolve judges issue under law and constitution through consensus on it and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari was taking the different democratic forces into confidence on the Constitutional Package, which would bring positive results and judges would be reinstated soon, they added.
