Security beefed up for students and teachers during exams

Strict security measures have been taken the Sindh University authorities and Jamshoro police to ensure peace during the first semester examinations, which began on Tuesday. The step has been taken following threats by a group of miscreants.
Hyderabad City Police provided full security to point buses of teachers, students and employees travelling from Hyderabad to Jamshoro. All security measures were taken at the University, examination centres and main entrances of the campus. Sindh University Vice-Chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui on Tuesday paid surprise visit to several examination centres at campus to inspect security arrangements.
Police squad was provided to students point buses plied between Old Campus, Latifabad via Wahdat Colony, Qasimabad via Ponam Petrol Pump station, Market via City Gate and Phuleli via Government Degree College, Hyderabad, for Jamshoro. Two police officials also accompanied the every point bus for the teachers as well employees of the University.
