Use of tinted glasses in vehicles banned

Municipal Administration Jamshed Town has put a ban on use of tinted glasses in the vehicles with in the limits of the town. The decision to this effect was made at a joint meeting of the Town Administration led by Town Nazim, Jawaid Ahmed and Police officials held here, said a statement issued on Tuesday evening.
The decision to prohibit tinted glasses in the vehicles has been taken to control the street crimes. Participants of the meeting also banned the business of the trade glasses with in the limits of Jamshed Town.
They have directed the town residents before hiring any domestic servants for their residences they must submit the documents of the servants and their guarantors before the office of respective UC Nazim.
Speaking at the meeting, Jawaid Ahmed expressed concerns that the establishment of encroachments is giving rise to crimes rate. They called upon the town administration and police to jointly launch an anti-encroachment grand operation in the town and ensure removal of tinted glass.
He informed that in view of eradication of crimes police pickets have already been established at furniture market, Manzoor Colony and others measures like more police deployment and provision of motorcycles to police have also been made.
He also called upon the Inspector General of Sindh Police to appoint the Jawaid Ahmed as TPO Jamshed Town. Besides Police officials concerned, Naib Nazim of the Town, Ziauddin Jamal, TMO Masroor Ahmed Memon and other officials were also present.
