A 50-feet breach developed in Rato canal at RD-6 in the Garhi Yasin area on Wednesday evening. Around 50 houses of Mohammad Nawaz Deenari village were submerged in floodwater. Villagers were trying to plug the breach. Villagers said that they did not receive support from the Irrigation Department for plugging the breach.
