Traders' cooperation to control crime lauded

District Police Officer, Hyderabad Najaf Qulli Mirza has lauded the role of business community of the city in co-operating police for controlling crimes and maintaining law and order situation. He was presiding over meeting with the representatives of trade organisations here on Thursday.
As many as 30 representatives of trade organisations and concerned officers attended the meeting. He said that trader's community played an important role in maintaining law and order situations. He said that Madadgar 15 was providing them all required facilities. He said that due to reforms being brought about in police, the crimes were declining gradually.
He said that police was patrolling regularly at all shopping centers and other busy areas. Mirza said that due to the effective measures, two big criminal gangs were apprehended, which led to decline in the instances of street crimes in Hyderabad. He said that Rs four million was being provided by IG Sindh police to bring about reforms in traffic police, Hyderabad.
