The Lahore High Court set aside the chief minister's orders relaxing rules for sending a SST teacher Isharat Fatima from LDA school on deputation and permanent his service as Assistant Director (community development).
Petitioner All Pakistan Clerks Association has challenged the Punjab chief minister's orders and argued the action of the respondent was illegal unconstitutional and without lawful authority. The petitioner argued that the respondent was working as SST teacher in a LDA school. She was sent on deputation in local government and her services were made permanent in relaxation of rules and regulations.
The petitioner were of the view that she was not eligible to be appointed as Assistant Director (Community Development) as she was MA in physiology but for this job a master in social works or sociology was required. The petitioner contended that respondent chief minister ignoring all the service rules confirmed the respondent and prayed to set aside the respondents orders.
