Rule of law imperative for development: Memon

Senator Nisar Memon has said that rule of law and supremacy of Constitution is imperative for the development of the country. Talking to Aaj TV, he said that people consider price hike as a major issue. In reply to a question, he said that all parties benefited from the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
He said the President is symbol of strength of the state. The PML decided to be in the opposition as it could not get the majority votes, he said, adding that Pakistan is getting very strong and a stable nuclear power as its command and control of the nuclear arsenal is of international standard.
He said that people do not consider the judiciary as a major issue. The parliament should be the decision making institution and the decisions should not be taken in the streets, he added. He said that people from all walks of life should join in politics.
