Punjab Health Department sets up monitoring teams

The Punjab Health Department has set up monitoring teams consisting of senior officers to check health facilities in the province. Each team has been assigned 10 districts where every officer will report with recommendations to the provincial co-ordinator.
A COMMITTEE WILL LOOK INTO THESE REPORTS FOR FEEDBACK.Orders issued from the Director General Health Services office said that Director Health Services (HQ) Captain Dr Malik Javed Tariq has been allocated Lahore District, DG Health Services Dr Muhammad Aslam Chaudhry Attock and Rawalpindi, ADHS Dr Salman Shahid Mianwali and Khushaab, ADHS Dr Altaf Hussain Hafizabad & Sargodha, Additional Project Director (MNCH) Dr Hijab Farrukh Sheikhupura and Narowal, Director Health Services Dr Arshad Usmani Kasur and Okara, Sergeon Medico Legal Punjab Captain Dr Ghulam Shabbir Multan and Muzaffargarh, ADHS Dr Muhammad Naeem Bhakkar Layyah, Director Health Services Dr Maqbool Hussain Shah Jhang and Toba Tek Singh, ADHS Dr Mahmood Ahmed Lodhran and Bahawalnagar, Provincial Co-ordinator National Programme for FP&PHC Dr Tanvir Ahmed Chakwal and Jhelum, General Manager Government Medical Store Depot Lahore Captain Dr Muhammad Junaid Gujrat and Mandi Bahauddin, ADHS Dr Azhar Masood Bhatti Sialkot and Gujranwala, Additional Programme Director (HSRP) Dr Amjad Shahzad Khanewal and Vehari, Director PHDC Dr Muhammad Akram Zahid Sahiwal and Pakpattan, ADHS Dr Sajjad-ul-Hassan DG Khan and Rajanpur, DHS Dr Zafar Iqbal Khokhar Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalpur and Director Health Services (CDC) Dr Zia-ur-Rehman will monitor the health facilities in Faisalabad and Nankana Sahib.
DG Health Services Dr Muhammad Aslam Chaudhry said the concerned officers would monitor the working of district and tehsil headquarters hospitals. RHCs and BHUs and will check the hygienic conditions, availability of medicines and attendance of staff.
He said the officer would send a report along with his recommendations every month to the monitoring committee, which will analyse the reports for giving feedback and recommendations to the government. The committee will comprise Director Health Services (D&E), Director PHDC and Provincial Co-ordinator MHIS, he added.
