Managing Director, Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa), Dr Javed Iqabal, visited various sub-divisions of the Agency and inspected steps being taken for redressing public complaints regarding water supply and sanitation, disclosed a LDA's spokesman here on Wednesday.
During his visit to Shadman area he ordered immediate transfer of XEN Operations, Data Gunj Bukhs Town, Raiz Kousar Gondal, for his unsatisfactory performance in solving the problems of the people.
He also visited sub-division office at Industrial Area Township and received complaints by calling the complainants on their telephone numbers registered problems in complaint book.
Later on, he inspected the operation of a newly installed tube-well in the sector B-1, township. As a result of the installation two cusec capacity tube-well, adequate supply of clean drinking water has been ensured for the local population. In addition, Director General, LDA, Irfan Ali, will also receive public complaints on phone regarding supply of water and sanitation from the residents of WASA service area, spokesman informed.
