Director General ACP directs officers to upgrade performance

The Director General, Anti Corruption Punjab (ACP), Tariq Saleem, has directed the senior officer to uphold merit during inquires and investigation of cases and give top priority to disposal of pending cases. While, presiding over a meeting of Regional Directors of the province here on Thursday, Tariq Saleem said that all the officers should ensure their easy accessibility to the masses.
Furthermore, he said that all officers should make utmost efforts to redress the genuine grievances of the people. He added that stern actions would be taken if the involvement of any official found in corruption , such as demanding bribes etc. He said elimination of corruption from the department is top on his agenda and all the officers should perform their duties with commitment and dedication.
Tariq Saleem directed the Regional Directors to submit fortnightly performance report to him on regular basis in which it should be mentioned that how many pending cases were disposed of, how many fined (challaned) and how many persons were awarded punishment.
