Sindh government activates BBSYDP

Sindh Government has activated the Provincial Co-ordination Unit for co-ordinating the activities under Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Programme (BBSYDP). Abdul Kabir Kazi, Programme Director, Sindh Devolved Social Services Programme (SDSSP) has been designated as Provincial Co-ordinator.
The existing staff of programme support unit SDSSP would cater to the requirements of administrative support of Provincial Co-ordination Unit in addition to their own duties. Officers have been designated to co-ordinate the activities with their assigned departments under this programme in addition to their SDSSP related issues.
According to notification issued by Planning and Development Department, Sindh, Dr Sheerin Narejo, Deputy Provincial Co-ordinator will co-ordinate with Health and Population Welfare.
Dr Mir Nusrat Panhwar Programme Officer-I with local government, livestock and fisheries and Zakat and Ushr, Ms Asma Programme Officer-II with Culture and Tourism, Social Welfare and Micro Finance Institutions, Syed Salahuddin Programme Officer-III with Information Technology, Forest and Wild Life and Excise and Taxation, Rais Ahmed Programme Officer IV with Education, Agriculture; Ali Imam Qadri Programme Officer-V with Labour and Procurement Engagements and Aftab Ahmed Memon Programme Officer-VI with Works and Services, Mines and Mineral Development, Women Development, Irrigation and Power and Home Departments activities. The programme office will be located at 3rd floor State Life Building No 3, Dr Ziauddin Ahmed Road, Karachi for co-ordination and activities under the Programme.
