Asian physical rubber prices were quoted mostly unchanged on Friday as thin trade offset rises in futures contract prices on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange which sets global trends.
Physical prices were likely to remain firm over the next week as monsoon rains were expected to disrupt tapping in Thailand's south, the country's major rubber growing areas that produce around 90 percent of the annual production of 3 million tonnes.
