Central president of Balochistan National Party Sardar Akhtar Mengal has demanded of United Nation's probe into the army operation in Balochistan and rejected the dialogue with the government.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Mengal said dialogue could not be possible in such a situation when the responsible of security operations are still in their offices and asked the government to remove the Baloch people's reservations, trace the missing people, withdraw military and provide basic rights to the people of Balochistan.
He criticised President Musharraf and said he overthrew the democratic government in 1999 and since then Baloch people are being killed under pre-plan. "The Baloch people will never forget Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti's cold blooded murder, during the security operation in August, 2006", he said.
During the last five years, children were killed and made them orphans, women were raped and the Baloch people were subjected to salvage, he said adding that several hundreds people, including elders and children, are missing and a large number were forced to leave their homes. "Efforts are being made to convert Balochistan into cantonments and a big land allotted to the army institutions", he added.
