Two smugglers held with 33 kg heroin at Islamabad airport

Anti Narcotic Force (ANF) seized 33-kg fine quality heroin worth more than one billion rupees in the international market and arrested two drug smugglers at Islamabad International Airport.
According to ANF press release here on Tuesday, the ANF team got information through its sources that a Pakistani of German origin namely Mudassar Ahmed Khan was carrying drugs with him to Germany by flight No EK-615 from Islamabad to Johannesburg. The ANF team searched the luggage of the passenger and recovered some 27-kg fine quality heroine, which had been concealed in the corners of dinner sets.
Meanwhile, in another action, the ANF team also recovered some 6-kg fine quality heroine from the suitcase of a South African national, which had been concealed in the cavities of his suitcase.
