The government of Pakistan has not received new list from United States about the arrest of terrorists, this was stated by A Rehman Malik, Advisor to Prime Minister on Interior on Friday. In a brief interview to a private television channel Rehman Malik said that reports in this regard are totally incorrect.
He said the Pakistani law enforcement and investigation agencies have the ability to deal with the terrorists and they are doing their job efficiently. "We are probing the things and those arrested in result of investigation will have to undergo trials in Pakistan", Rehman Malik said.
He said that if found guilty they would be punished according to the law of land and if found innocent they will be acquitted. Responding to some statements about the presence of Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan's controlled territory the Advisor said, "in our opinion he is not in Pakistan's area and those who say about his presence in Pakistan should present the evidence".
To another question he said as the Afghan President has stated that he has said nothing about pushing Afghan troops into Pakistan's areas for action the debate in this regard should come to an end. He said that peace in region is in mutual interests of both Pakistan and Afghanistan.
