Promotion of Sindhi language urged

The Chairperson of Sindhi Language Authority, Mst Dr Fahmida Hussain has said that Sindhi is the most popular language in the world. Her opinion came from a programme organised by Sindh Graduates Association (SGA) on Friday night at Hyderabad Gymkhana.
She told that the main aim of Sindhi Language Authority is to work on Sindhi language in correct way. She told that the Sindhi Language Authority will provide best language books. For the development of Sindhi language it is necessary to read Sindhi language books.
It is the responsibility of parents to teach Sindhi language in their homes to children and teach them Sindhi literature as well. She advised the experts of Sindhi language to come forward and work for language.
On this occasion Professor Inam Shaikh disclosed that private schools are not teaching Sindhi language. In Sindh province there are 8 to 10 thousands private schools and their management should be bound to teach Sindhi language to students. In this way many unemployed educated Sindhis will not only get the job but it will be best for promotion of Sindhi language.
Professor Qureshi said that he is proud of Mst Dr Fahmida Hussain as Chairperson of Sindhi Language Authority and the work she is doing for Sindhi language was highly appreciable. Professor Saeeda Bashir Chandio, Madam Mumtaz Bhutto and Zaib Nizamani also addressed the participants.
Sindh Graduates Association Hyderabad's general secretary Ibrahim Shaikh while addressing said that the aim of this event is to promote Sindhi language. In the end Sindh Graduates Association's president Allah Warayo Khaskheli presented her Holy Quran and traditional special gift Ajrak.
